In the the first episode of the Intro to iOS App Development series, I cover the basics of Xcode—the main tool used to develop software for Apple platforms—and go though the steps of the app lifecycle—from launch to shutdown. By the end of this video, you’ll have an Xcode project which launches in the simulator (or on a real device) and shows a couple UI elements.
